The Cottage

The cottage recently has undergone substantial refurbishment to include wide board oak floorings, and creamy limestone tiles on the ground floor. All sanitaryware is high quality (Aston Matthews of London). There is an electric cream Aga and kitchen worktops are in solid oak, with the centre isle unit fitted with a wine cooler.
All internal doors are in a stunning black finish, with wood and pewter handles.
All recently fitted double glazed windows/doors are finished in ebony to match the internal doors.
The master bedroom has a freestanding roll top Aston Matthews 'Brunel' bath with mixer taps, and downstairs shower room has drench shower head and is fully tiled.
All lighting is fitted with dimmers.

The Surroundings

The beach at Lunan is frequented by dolphins in summer and the bay at Auchmithie is home to puffins who breed there. The Angus Glens are not far away for hill walking and shooting and stalking, and there is fishing on the doorstep.
The nearest town is Montrose (5 miles away) with its train station, good shopping and takeaway restaurants.
The town of Arbroath is 8 miles away and is the home of the 'Smokie' and has a recently developed Marina and Harbour area.

The cottage sits amidst some of the best equestrian facilities in Angus. The Seahorse Stables have livery and indoor and outdoor schooling facilities.

There are miles and miles of safe hacking - both in the countryside and along the beaches of Lunan Bay.
